Shipping
Wheels usually ship from our facility in Dayton, OH within 2-7 business days of purchase. If you require expedited shipping, contact us at 1-800-941-6400. We ship anywhere in the USA and Canada via UPS ground. Shipping for orders placed on this website is $29.95 (UPS standard) per wheel to ship to anywhere in the continental USA. Shipping for orders in Canada, Alaska, or Hawaii will incur an additional charge to cover the freight. Expedited shipping is also available. Call 1-800-941-6400 for more information.
Packaging
When you are buying wheels only, we use boxes of the appropriate size. Protective film and plastic is used to protect the face of the wheel. All products that you receive will be packaged on site and secured to prevent any damage during transport. If any such damage occurs please alert The Wheel Warehouse Inc. at our support line at 1-800-941-6400. We will contact you within ASAP and advise on a course of action to take with the shipping company.
Receiving Your Order
Center caps are not included with any wheel purchase unless otherwise agreed.
When you receive your order, you must inspect each piece to make sure there is no damage. We recommend you do this in front of the UPS driver BEFORE you sign for the order. Once you have signed for the order, you are taking responsibility that the order is in good condition. If there is damage, you should refuse delivery and notify us as soon as possible at 1-800-941-6400.
For a wheel and tire package, take off the packaging material from each wheel / tire assembly and inspect for damage. For wheels only, you must remove each wheel out of its box and inspect them individually.
Never put a damaged product on your vehicle. Putting damaged product on your vehicle voids any responsibility the freight company may have for the damage. A freight company will deny any claim for damage if the product was installed on the vehicle, or while a shop was installing it.
If you purchased wheels only, it is your responsibility to inspect them for damage before you take them to the shop for installation. We recommend that you do this with the installer to make sure there are no dents, bends or scratches before wheels are mounted on tires. Once they are mounted on tires, we no longer can be held responsible for any damage.
When you receive you order, make sure to check that all pieces are the correct size, color, and any extras (such as installation kit) have been enclosed. If you purchased wheels only, make sure the shop test fits all four wheels before mounting tires on to them. Once a tire is mounted on a rim, it is not returnable. Return/Refund Policy
All returns are subject to shipping and restocking charges. No returns accepted after 30 days. No returns accepted on MOUNTED wheels. No returns accepted on special orders. The use of clip on weights will damage finish and void warranty. TERMS: NET 10 DAYS. Center caps are not included with any wheel purchase unless otherwise agreed.
If you need to return or exchange an item, please call 1-800-941-6400. Thewheelwarehouse.com will accept returns within 30 days of delivery. This means you must confirm that the order fits correctly within 30 days of you receiving it. If you wait three months before trying to install the order and find it doesn't fit, it will not be returnable.
Please read the following guidelines and instructions if you need to return merchandise:
Any other returns will be subject to the following deductions:
Wheels: Credit less all freight charges plus a 15% re-stocking fee. Freight charges include duties and brokerage for U.S. Customers, and apply to both directions of shipping. In other words, you will be credited your invoice amount less the following:
- Shipping charges from The Wheel Warehouse Inc. to you.
- Duties and brokerage The Wheel Warehouse Inc. pre-paid when the package was sent from The Wheel Warehouse Inc. to you.
- Any duty and brokerage charges The Wheel Warehouse Inc. is assessed for the shipment from you back to The Wheel Warehouse Inc.
All merchandise must be in the same condition as received.
All merchandise must be properly packaged. Whenever possible merchandise should be packaged the same way and with the same materials as it was received.
Wheels
- Secure center cap and lug nuts/bolts in separate bags or small box and tape securely to inside of wheel box (if applicable) so it can not come undone during shipping. Make sure the container is strong so the hardware does not break out and damage the wheel.
- Wheel must have a foam sheet pad, or be wrapped in a plastic bag to protect the face of the wheel from cardboard chafing.
- If returning two wheels in one box, must have protective cardboard between wheels.
- Wheel must be secured and well protected in the box. Any Styrofoam packing material received with the shipment must be reused in the same way.
You should also attach an envelope to the order and enclose a note with your personal information, original order or invoice number, and the Return Authorization Number that we give you when you call to arrange the return. You should also note the reason for return so we can accurately process your credit.
Under no circumstance will The Wheel Warehouse Inc. accept a return of product that is damaged due to the negligence of the customer. The wheels are still your property until we get them back.
Upon receiving your order at our warehouse, it will be inspected. We do not discard any packaging in case there is damage due to shipping. Please note: it takes approximately 2-3 weeks to process returns.
Core Returns
All cores must be returned within 90 days of receipt of wheel in order to receive core credit.
Wheel Repairs
Any wheels, center caps, lug nuts or otherwise left at our facility unclaimed after 90 days are scrapped to clear space and inventory.
Bearings must be sent with motorcycle wheels or processing and service of your wheel will be delayed. Do not send rotors in with your wheel. The Wheel Warehouse will not be held responsible for rotors sent with your wheel. Company policy requires payment in full before any wheel repair work starts. The Wheel Warehouse is not responsible for chroming delays as all chroming is done through a third party partner. Chroming typically takes one month but can take longer. Repairs can be completed within 24 hours of receipt by utilizing our Expedited Wheel Repair Service at additional charge. Call 1-800-941-6400 for more information.
